Eva Washburn is a San Francisco based Illustrator whose roots are connected to Seattle Washington. She attended California College of the Arts, graduating with a BFA in illustration in 2025. She spent time during 2017 and 2018 doing environmental conservation work in both the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
Washburn has experience in Adobe Photoshop as well as Adobe InDesign. She uses a variety of multimedia traditional techniques to create many of her works. She also has a wide range printmaking experience including screenprinting, linocut, woodblock, bookbinding, and cyanotyping that she incorporates into her work. Interested in blending different techniques, Washburn has currently been experimenting with felted sculptures and garments.
Her adolescence in the Pacific Northwest has heavily influenced her work and interest in sustainable practices. She likes to incorporate whimsy and organic movement into what she creates. With a background in working with children, she feels a strong connection to creating work that encourages young people to use their imagination and connect with the nature that surrounds them.
