Thesis- 2024

My thesis explores the magical intersection between nature and imagination through whimsical illustrations crafted with acrylic paint and colored pencil. Each piece is designed for children, rooted deeply in the vibrant landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. From radiant suns embracing mossy hillsides to water nymphs swimming alongside salmon, and a mysterious forest creature nestled in ancient woods, these illustrations invite young viewers to see the natural world through a lens of wonder and play. My goal is to spark curiosity, emotional connection, and a sense of belonging in the outdoors.
